Current coronavirus (COVID-19) policies

Downtown Toyota is dedicated to the health and safety of our employees and our customers. We have doubled up our efforts regarding cleaning our facility daily and hourly. We have made our employees aware of the current recommendations that the State of California has released regarding persons 65 years of age and older. Also, we have made sure that our employees are aware, that if they do not feel well, to NOT to come to work and contact their care providers immediately.

The impacts of the coronavirus have rapidly evolved, we have kept a close eye on the situation over the past several days, responding quickly to changes and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organizations (WHO), and federal, state and local officials as they occur.

Free Pickup and Delivery for Our Service Customers

In light of the Corona COVID-19 crisis. Downtown Toyota is offering all of our local customers, that live within 20 miles of the dealership, free pick up and delivery. If you are unable to come into the dealership for service, we will gladly come to you and pickup your vehicle for the service work. Once the service is complete, we will return your Toyota to you at home. Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service for oil changes. Please call the service department for more details and to schedule your pickup appointment.

Customers coming in for their service appointments:

We are asking our service customers to stay in their vehicles when coming in for their service appointments. If we are not getting to you quickly enough, simply reach out to one of our team members in the service isle. This is a step we are putting in place in order to keep safe distancing in the service and parts facility. Our service staff will write up your vehicle and the service you are here for, then invite you in to sign your paperwork, after that you are welcome to use our Entertainment Lounge or our Quiet Lounge.  We are cleaning these lounges, tables and chairs multiple time per day, and we are separating the seating to attempt a three to six-foot distance to each other.

Sales/Leasing and Finance Departments:

In a more normalized environment, we would offer each visitor here a hearty handshake and welcome. During the next few weeks, we have instructed our staff to NOT offer any handshakes with guests. The natural reaction when a handshake is offered is to grab the handshake and return the courtesy. Please do not take this step personally, we still love you but will offer you a safe and clean environment with a handshake for a few weeks. We are looking forward to returning to the good ole' days of normalcy, in the meantime, Downtown Toyota will make every accommodation for our customers and employees that we possibly can. Stay healthy and thank you for being such amazing customers.
